out of stock"Although Amanda Baeza’s drawings seem to come from another world, the collected comics in Brume are based on real events and real feelings. Her graphic personality is exceptional – so distinct and at the same time so mutable, and even more uncommon is the way in which her words and images create original narratives and visual poems."
Amanda has been building an impressive body of work in the last 4 years in various contexts and in several different countries. Her short comics have been published in zines and anthologies throughout the world in places like Portugal, Spain, Italy, France, Latvia, Colombia, or Brazil. Now we finally get to have an entire book filled with a selection of her best work to date.
If you have already come across Amanda Baeza's comics, you should know what I'm talking about. And if you've never read anything from her, do yourself a favour and don't stay away from this stuff much longer.
I truly hope and believe this is just the beginning of a fascinating long journey Amanda will take us through, and yet this BRUME is already so mesmerising. Don't miss this!
