out of stockMariana Pita's drawings and comics may look cheerful and lighthearted at first sight but EDPEOD is a great example of how her characters and narratives are often pretty deep and odd, sometimes even dark. This one deals with life, death, happiness and sadness in mysterious ways, through the philosophical words of a seemingly nice fellow and his dog.
Written during her stay in London last year, the story takes place in a very peculiar garden located in Porto, Portugal. "I haven't been to Portugal in more than 3 months. The depictions of the garden were made based on my memories and pictures found online. I also took some notes before leaving Portugal".
